Riley Gaines announced she is pregnant with her first child and took a jab at Simone Biles during the announcement.
The former collegiate swimmer and current right-wing commentator shared the news at a Turning Point USA event on Saturday. She referenced Biles’ recent comment about height, where Biles said, “bully someone your own size, which would ironically be a male.”
Riley called this statement ironic and asked the audience how many men they knew who had “this,” while pulling her dress to reveal her growing baby bump.
The crowd cheered loudly for Riley’s pregnancy news. Later in the event, she mentioned her unborn child as a “young girl,” indicating she already knows the baby’s gender.
Simone Biles has not responded to Riley’s comments. She has stayed off social media since apologizing for her earlier exchanges with Riley. Despite this, Riley seems to still hold some feelings about their disagreement.
It remains to be seen how Simone will react to Riley’s latest remarks. For now, Riley appears focused on her pregnancy and future as a mom.
